Removal and Installation: Installation

- Install the heat shields (LH/RH).NOTE: Do not install a bolt (A) in this location; that bolt is a shared mounting point with the center heat shield.
- Install the center heat shield.
Tighten the bolts in the sequence shown.
NOTE: Make sure bolt number 5 engages the heat shield (LH) and center heat shield.Bolts
: 7.4 N.m (0.75 kg-m, 65 in-lb)
- Install cowl top. Refer to Removal and Installation - Cowl Top Cover .
- Connect the battery or batteries. Refer to Battery Disconnect
.WARNING: Battery acid and battery acid fumes are extremely dangerous and can cause severe burns and explosion. To help reduce the risk of personal injury:
- Wear appropriate goggles and protective clothing.
- Always properly ventilate the area where the service is being performed.
- Never allow battery fluid to come in contact with skin, eyes, fabrics or painted surfaces.
- To avoid arcing, remove the negative (-) battery cable first and attach the negative (-) battery cable last.
- If acid contacts eyes, skin or clothing, immediately flush with water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention.
