DTC Confirmation Procedure

  1. PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE 

    If DTC Confirmation Procedure has been previously conducted, always perform the following procedure before conducting the next test:

    1. Start the vehicle and accelerate to 90 km/h (56 MPH), then release the accelerator pedal and keep it released for more than 10 seconds.
      CAUTION: Always drive vehicle at safe speed.
    2. Depress the accelerator pedal until vehicle speed is 90 km/h (56 MPH) again.
      NOTE:
      • Checking the vehicle speed with GST is advised.
      • When steady-state driving is performed again even after it is interrupted, each diagnosis can be conducted. In this case, the time required for diagnosis may be extended.
    3. Connect CONSULT and check for current "ENGINE" diagnostic trouble codes.
    4. Check for DTC P062B-00 being current on the CONSULT screen.

    Is DTC P062B-00 current?

    YES

    Go to Diagnosis Procedure .

    NO

    Inspection End.
