Diagnosis Procedure

  1. CHECK DTC PRIORITY 
    1. Turn ignition switch ON.
    2. Connect CONSULT and check for "ENGINE" diagnostic trouble codes.
    3. Check for DTC P0606-00 being current DTC on the CONSULT screen.

    Is DTC P0606-00 detected as current?

    YES

    Replace the ECM. Refer to Removal and Installation .

    NO

    GO TO 2 .

  2. RECALIBRATE THE ECM 
    1. Turn ignition switch ON.
    2. Connect CONSULT and recalibrate the ECM with the latest engine calibration.
    3. Connect CONSULT and check for "ENGINE" diagnostic trouble codes.
    4. Check for DTC P060B being current DTC on the CONSULT screen.

    Is DTC P060B-00 current?

    YES

    Replace the ECM. Refer to Removal and Installation .

    NO

    Inspection End.
