Diagnosis Procedure

- CHECK DTC PRIORITY
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Connect CONSULT and check for ENGINE diagnostic trouble codes.
- Check for CAN DTCs being current on the CONSULT screen.
Is applicable DTC detected as current?
YES
Refer to DTC Index .
NO
GO TO 2 .
- CHECK DTC PRIORITY
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Connect CONSULT and check for "ENGINE" diagnostic trouble codes.
- Check for DTC P0463-00 being current on the CONSULT screen.
Is DTC P0463-00 detected as current?
YES
Check the following:
- Vehicle electronic control unit-to-data link connection
- Voltage to the vehicle electronic control unit
- Fuel level sensor/unit
- Harness or connectors
NO
