Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Remove steering column covers. Refer to Removal and Installation .
  2. Remove lock plate (1) and pull control cable (2) in the direction shown (SYMBOL ) to disconnect A/T shift selector.

  3. Disconnect harness connector (A) from A/T shift selector (1).

  4. Release the harness clips (A) using a suitable tool.

  5. Remove bolts (A) from A/T shift selector.

  6. Remove A/T shift selector from steering column.
