DTC Confirmation Procedure

PREPARATION BEFORE WORK
If another "DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE" occurs just before, turn ignition switch OFF and wait for at least 25 seconds, then perform the next test.

GO TO 2 .
PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1. Clear the DTC.
2. Start the engine and wait for at least 2 seconds.
3. Shift the selector lever to D position.
4. Drive the vehicle and maintain the following condition for at least 5 seconds.
  - Gear: 6th
5. Stop the vehicle.
6. Check the 1st trip DTC.
Is "P0716" detected?

YES

Refer to Diagnosis Procedure .

NO

To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident .

NO

Confirmation after repair: INSPECTION END
