Diagnosis Procedure
- CHECK CONNECTOR
Check the damage and corrosion of connectors (F216 and E73 and E74).
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO 2 .
NO
Repair or replace malfunctioning parts.
- CHECK TCM INPUT SIGNALS
- Start the engine.
- Check voltage between TCM harness connector terminal and ground.

- CHECK CIRCUIT BETWEEN TCM AND A/T ASSEMBLY
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect TCM connector and A/T assembly connector.
- Check continuity between TCM harness connector terminals and A/T assembly connector terminals.

NO
Repair or replace malfunctioning part.
- CHECK CIRCUIT BETWEEN A/T FLUID TEMPERATURE SENSOR 2 AND ANOTHER CIRCUIT
Check continuity between TCM harness connector terminals.

Repair or replace malfunctioning part.
- CHECK CIRCUIT BETWEEN A/T FLUID TEMPERATURE SENSOR 2 AND TCM
- Disconnect TCM connector and A/T assembly connector.
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Check voltage between TCM harness connector terminals and ground.
