Component Inspection

- CHECK CIRCUIT OF AXLE DISCONNECT DEVICE RELAY
- Turn the ignition switch OFF. (Stay for at least 5 seconds.)
- Remove axle disconnect device relay. Refer to Component Parts Location .
- Check the continuity between axle disconnect device relay terminals.

GO TO 2
NO
Replace axle disconnect device relay. Refer to Component Parts Location .
- CHECK OPERATION OF AXLE DISCONNECT DEVICE RELAY
- Apply 12V direct current between axle disconnect device relay terminals 1 and 2.CAUTION:
- Never make the terminal short.
- Connect the 5A fuse between the terminals when applying the voltage.
- Check continuity between relay terminals 3 and 5.
