Diagnosis Procedure

  1. CHECK TRANSFER MOTOR (1) 
    1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
    2. Remove the transfer motor. Refer to Removal and Installation .
    3. Visually check transfer motor gear for damage.

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES

    GO TO 2 .

    NO

    Replace the transfer motor. Refer to Removal and Installation .

  2. CHECK TRANSFER MOTOR (2) 

    Check the transfer motor. Refer to Component Inspection .

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES

    Replace the transfer assembly. Refer to Removal and Installation .

    NO

    Replace the transfer motor. Refer to Removal and Installation .
