Diagnosis Procedure

1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Check that the following fuse is not blown:

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 2

NO

Replace the blown fuse after repairing the affected circuit.

1. Remove daytime running light relay.
2. Check voltage between daytime running light relay harness connector E103 and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 3

NO

Repair or replace the harness or connector.

Check daytime running light relay. Refer to Component Inspection .

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 4

NO

Replace daytime running light relay.

CONSULT

1. Install daytime running light relay.
2. Turn ignition switch ON.
3. Select "EXTERNAL LAMPS" in "Active Test" mode of "IPDM E/R".
4. While operating the test item, check voltage between IPDM E/R harness connector E122 and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Daytime running light relay circuit is OK.

NO

GO TO 5

NO

Replace IPDM E/R. Refer to Removal and Installation of IPDM E/R .

1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Remove daytime running light relay.
3. Disconnect IPDM E/R harness connector.
4. Check continuity between IPDM E/R harness connector E122 and daytime running light relay harness connector E103.

   	42		2	Yes

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 6

NO

Repair or replace the harness or connector.

Check continuity between IPDM E/R harness connector E122 and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Replace IPDM E/R. Refer to Removal and Installation of IPDM E/R .

NO

Repair or replace the harness or connector.
