Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK FUSES

Check if any of the following fuses are blown.

Fuse block (J/B)	15A	23
IPDM E/R	20A	53

Is the inspection result normal-

YES

GO TO 2 .

Replace the blown fuse after repairing the affected circuit.

CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT

Turn ignition switch ON.

Check voltage between rear window defogger connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal-

YES

GO TO 3 .

Repair or replace harness.

CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT

Turn ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect rear window defogger connector.

Check continuity between rear window defogger connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal-

YES

GO TO 4 .

Repair or replace harness.

CHECK FILAMENT
Check filament.

Refer to Filament Check .

Is the inspection result normal-

YES

Check intermittent incident. Refer to Intermittent Incident .

NO

Repair filament. Refer to Filament Repair .
