Diagnosis Procedure
- CHECK CONNECTOR
- Turn the ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect the battery cable from the negative terminal.
- Check the following terminals and connectors for damage, bend and loose connection (unit side and connector side).
- ADAS control unit (Models with blind spot warning system)
- Sonar control unit
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Models with Blind Spot Warning System: GO TO STEP 2 .
YES
Models without Blind Spot Warning System: GO TO STEP 3 .
NO
Repair the terminal and connector.
- CHECK HARNESS CONTINUITY (OPEN CIRCUIT)
- Disconnect the connector of ADAS control unit.
- Check the continuity between the ADAS control unit harness connector terminals.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 3 .
NO
Check the harness and repair the root cause (ITS CAN communication circuit side).
- CHECK HARNESS FOR OPEN CIRCUIT
- Connect the connector of ADAS control unit (with blind spot warning system).
- Disconnect the connector of sonar control unit.
- Check the resistance between the sonar control unit harness connector terminals.

Is the measurement value within the specification?
YES
GO TO STEP 4 .
NO
Repair the sonar control unit blanch line.
- CHECK POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUIT
Check the power supply and the ground circuit of the sonar control unit. Refer to Diagnosis Procedure .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Replace the sonar control unit. Refer to Removal and Installation .
YES
Error was detected in the sonar control unit branch line.
NO
Repair the power supply and the ground circuit.
