Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK HARNESS CONTINUITY (OPEN CIRCUIT)

Turn the ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect the battery cable from the negative terminal.
Disconnect the following harness connectors.
- ECM
- Combination meter
- Sonar control unit

Check the continuity between the combination meter harness connector and the sonar control unit harness connector.

With type A

NOTE: Check the combination meter type to confirm the service information. Refer to Information .

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Check CAN system type decision again.

YES

Error was detected in the main line between the combination meter and the sonar control unit.

Repair the main line between the combination meter and the sonar control unit.
