Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK HARNESS CONTINUITY (OPEN CIRCUIT)

Turn the ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect the battery cable from the negative terminal.
Disconnect the following harness connectors.
- ECM
- Combination meter
- Front air control (with manual air conditioning system)
- A/C auto amp. (with automatic air conditioning system)

Check the continuity between the combination meter harness connector and the front air control or the A/C auto amp. harness connector.

With type A (with manual air conditioning system)

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Check CAN system type decision again.

YES

Error was detected in the main line between the combination meter and the front air control or the A/C auto amp.

Repair the main line between the combination meter and the front air control or the A/C auto amp.
