Diagnosis Procedure
- CHECK CONNECTOR
- Turn the ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect the battery cable from the negative terminal.
- Check the following terminals and connectors for damage, bend and loose connection (connector side and harness side).
- Harness connector B69
- Harness connector M40
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 2 .
NO
Repair the terminal and connector.
- CHECK HARNESS CONTINUITY (OPEN CIRCUIT)
- Disconnect the following harness connectors.
- Around view monitor control unit
- Harness connector B69 and M40
- Check the continuity between the around view monitor control unit harness connector and the harness connector.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 3 .
NO
Repair the main line between the around view monitor control unit harness connector and the harness connector B69.
- Disconnect the following harness connectors.
- CHECK HARNESS CONTINUITY (OPEN CIRCUIT)
- Disconnect the connector of sonar control unit.
- Check the continuity between the harness connector and the sonar control unit.

YES
Check CAN system type decision again.
YES
Error was detected in the main line between the around view monitor control unit and the sonar control unit.
NO
Repair the main line between the harness connectors M40 and the sonar control unit.
