Diagnosis Procedure

- CHECK CONNECTOR
- Turn the ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect the battery cable from the negative terminal.
- Check the following terminals and connectors for damage, bend and loose connection (connector side and harness side).
- Harness connector B201
- Harness connector B54
- Harness connector B69
- Harness connector M40
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 2 .
NO
Repair the terminal and connector.
- CHECK HARNESS CONTINUITY (OPEN CIRCUIT)
- Disconnect the following harness connectors.
- Harness connector B201 and B54
- Harness connector B69 and M40
- Check the continuity between the harness connectors.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 3 .
NO
Repair the main line between the harness connector driver seat control unit and B69.
- Disconnect the following harness connectors.
- CHECK HARNESS CONTINUITY (OPEN CIRCUIT)
- Disconnect the connector of 3CH CAN gateway.
- Check the continuity between the harness connector and 3CH CAN gateway harness connector.

YES
Check CAN system type decision again.
YES
Error was detected in the main line between the driver seat control unit and the 3CH CAN gateway.
NO
Repair the main line between the harness connector M40 and the 3CH CAN gateway.
