Diagnosis Procedure

- CHECK CONNECTOR
- Turn the ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect the battery cable from the negative terminal.
- Check the terminals and connectors of the AV control unit for damage, bend and loose connection (unit side and connector side).
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 2 .
NO
Repair the terminal and connector.
- CHECK HARNESS CONTINUITY (OPEN CIRCUIT)
- Disconnect the connector of 3CH CAN gateway.
- Check the continuity between the 3CH CAN gateway harness connector terminals.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 3 .
NO
Check the harness and repair or replace the root cause (IT CAN communication circuit side).
- CHECK HARNESS FOR OPEN CIRCUIT
- Connect the connector of 3CH CAN gateway.
- Disconnect the connector of AV control unit.
- Check the resistance between the AV control unit harness connector terminals.
Is the measurement value within the specification?
YES
GO TO STEP 4 .
NO
Repair the AV control unit branch line.
- CHECK POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUIT
Check the power supply and the ground circuit of the AV control unit. Refer to the following.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Replace the AV control unit. Refer to the following.
- Navigation without amplifier: Removal and Installation
- Navigation with amplifier: Removal and Installation
YES
Error was detected in the AV control unit branch line.
NO
Repair the power supply and the ground circuit.
