DTC Confirmation Procedure

  1. PRECONDITIONING 

    If "DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE" has been previously conducted, always turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds before conducting the next test.

    GO TO STEP 2  .

  2. DTC REPRODUCTION PROCEDURE 

    SYMBOL CONSULT

    1. Start the engine.
    2. Turn the differential lock mode switch OFF.
    3. Drive at 20km/h (12 MPH) or less for approx. 1 minute on the curved road.
    4. Select "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "DIFF LOCK".

    Is DTC "P18CE" detected?

    YES

    Proceed to diagnosis procedure. Refer to Diagnosis Procedure .

    NO

    To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident .

    NO

    Confirmation after repair: Inspection End.
