Diagnosis Procedure

After shift the 4WD mode 4H to 4LO, 4WD indicator continues to blink.
- CHECK OPERATION CONDITION OF 4WD MODE
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Shift the 4WD mode depending on operation condition. Refer to System Description .
Does the 4WD indicator stop to blink?
YES
Inspection End.
NO
GO TO 2 .
- CHECK 4WD INDICATOR LAMP
Check 4WD indicator function. Refer to Component Function Check .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO 3 .
NO
Proceed to diagnosis procedure. Refer to Diagnosis Procedure .
- CHECK DTC OF TRANSFER CONTROL UNIT
CONSULT
- Turn the ignition switch ON.
- Select "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "ALL MODE AWD/4WD".
Is any DTC detected?
YES
Check DTC detected item. Refer to DTC Index .
NO
Transfer assembly is mechanical malfunction. Replace transfer assembly. Refer to Removal and Installation .
