Diagnosis Procedure

- PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
CONSULT
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Check "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "AUTO DRIVE POS".
- Erase the DTC.
- Perform DTC confirmation procedure. Refer to DTC Confirmation Procedure .
Is the DTC displayed again?
YES
GO TO 2
NO
Check intermittent incident. Refer to Intermittent Incident .
- CHECK RECLINING MOTOR LH CIRCUIT (POWER SHORT)
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect reclining motor LH and driver seat control unit connector.
- Check voltage between reclining motor LH harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO 3.
NO
Repair or replace harness or connector.
- CHECK DRIVER SEAT CONTROL UNIT OUTPUT SIGNAL
- Connect driver seat control unit connector.
- Check voltage between driver seat control unit harness connector and ground.

NO
Replace driver seat control unit. Refer to Removal and Installation .
