Removal and Installation - Non-XD Models: Removal

Remove the front under cover. Refer to Removal and Installation .

Remove the nuts from the stabilizer bar connecting rod.

For 4WD remove the nuts (A) from the stabilizer bar connecting rod (1) (RH/LH).

CAUTION: Do not reuse connecting rod nuts.

For 2WD remove the nuts (A) from the stabilizer bar connecting rod (1) (RH/LH).

CAUTION: Do not reuse connecting rod nuts.

For 2WD remove bolts (A) and remove front suspension member reinforcement [LH (1)].

For 2WD remove bolts (A) and remove push arm [LH (1)].

Bolts A

: 35 Nm (3.6 kg-m, 26 ft.-lb)

: Front

Remove the bolts from the stabilizer bar clamp.

For 4WD remove bolts (A) from the stabilizer bar clamp (1).

CAUTION: Do not reuse connecting rod nuts.

For 2WD remove bolts (A) from the stabilizer bar clamp (1).

Remove the stabilizer bar clamp (RH/LH).
Remove the stabilizer bar.
Remove the stabilizer bar bushings from the stabilizer bar.
