Transfer Fluid: Draining

  1. Stop the engine.
  2. Remove the drain plug (1) and drain transfer fluid.

  3. Apply sealant to thread of drain plug, and install it to transfer and tighten to the specified torque.
    CAUTION: Remove old sealant from thread of drain plug.

    Specified torque

    : 20.5 N.m (2.1 kg-m, 15 ft-lb)

    Sealant

    : Hylomar 102 silicone or equivalent
