Removal and Installation: Removal

CAUTION:
  • When replacing the TCU, a new TCU must be used. The functions controlled by the TCU do not operate properly if a TCU from another vehicle is used.
  • Before replacing TCU, perform "SAVE VIN DATA" to save current vehicle specification. For details, refer to Description .
  1. Remove body control module. Refer to Removal and Installation .
  2. Disconnect harness connectors from the TCU (1).

  3. Remove screws (A) from bracket, remove bracket from steering member and remove TCU (1) from bracket (2).
