Diagnosis Procedure
- CHECK CVT SHIFT SELECTOR SWITCH FUNCTION
CONSULT
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Select "DETE/CANCL SW" and "VEH SPEED 1" in "Data Monitor" mode.
- Check "DETE/CANCL SW" and "VEH SPEED 1" indication under the following conditions:

Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Refer to Intermittent Incident .
NO
If "DETE/CANCL SW" is incorrect. GO TO 4.
NO
If "VEH SPEED 1" is incorrect. GO TO 2.
- CHECK DTC OF COMBINATION METER
CONSULT
Check DTC in "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "METER/M&A".
Is DTC detected?
YES
Perform the trouble diagnosis related to the detected DTC. Refer to DTC Index .
NO
GO TO 3.
- CHECK DTC OF ABS ACTUATOR AND ELECTRIC UNIT (CONTROL UNIT)
CONSULT
Check DTC in "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "ABS".
Is DTC detected?
YES
Perform the trouble diagnosis related to the detected DTC. Refer to DTC Index (With ICC) or DTC Index (Without ICC).
NO
GO TO 6.
- CHECK CVT SHIFT SELECTOR CIRCUIT
- Disconnect BCM connector and IPDM E/R connector.
- Check continuity between CVT shift selector (park position switch) harness connector and BCM harness connector.

- Check continuity between CVT shift selector (park position switch) harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO 5.
NO
Repair or replace harness.
- CHECK CVT SHIFT SELECTOR (PARK POSITION SWITCH)
Refer to Component Inspection .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO 6.
NO
Replace CVT shift selector. Refer to Removal and Installation .
- CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
Refer to Intermittent Incident .
