Diagnosis Procedure
- PERFORM SELF DIAGNOSTIC RESULT
Perform "Self Diagnostic Result" of "IPDM E/R" using CONSULT.
Is display history of DTC B20A8 CRNT?
YES
GO TO 2.
NO
Refer to Intermittent Incident .
- CHECK STARTER CONTROL CIRCUIT VOLTAGE
Check voltage between IPDM E/R connector E19 and ground.

YES
Replace IPDM E/R. Refer to Removal and Installation .
NO
Voltage present with CVT selector lever in any position other than P or N GO TO 3.
NO
No voltage present with CVT selector lever in P or N, GO TO 4.
- CHECK STARTER CONTROL CIRCUIT FOR SHORT TO VOLTAGE
- Disconnect IPDM E/R connector E19 and BCM connector M20.
- Check voltage between IPDM E/R connector E19 and ground.

YES
Replace BCM. Refer to Removal and Installation .
NO
Repair or replace harness or connectors.
- CHECK STARTER CONTROL CIRCUIT FOR OPEN OR SHORT TO GROUND
- Disconnect IPDM E/R connector E19 and BCM connector M20.
- Check continuity between IPDM E/R connector E19 and BCM connector M20.
