Center Seat: Seatback: Disassembly

CAUTION:

Always work from the side or back of the seatback, do not work in front of seat.
Do not use air tools or electric tools for servicing the seat assembly.

Remove front center seat. Refer to Removal and Installation - Center Seat .

Release metal clips and pawls, then remove rear leg finisher (1).

NOTE: With rear seat shown without rear seat similar.

Release metal clip and pawls, then remove armrest outer upper pivot finisher [RH (1)].

Release pawls and metal clip, then remove armrest outer pivot finisher [LH (1)].

Remove armrest release strap (1), then remove armrest pivot bolts (A, B) and remove armrest.

Remove armrest inner and outer pivots (RH) using the following procedure:

Remove screws (A) and bolt (B) from armrest pivot arm (1), then remove armrest pivot arm.

Lift the armrest lid, then release armrest trim (2) from around the armrest drawer (1) and remove the armrest trim and the armrest pad from the armrest frame.

Separate the armrest trim from the armrest pad.
Remove three screws and remove the seat belt guide from the armrest frame.
Remove screws (A), then remove armrest lid and armrest drawer as an assembly from the armrest frame.
