Automatic Drive Positioner (DTC/Circuit Diagnosis)

  1. CHECK LIFTING SENSOR (REAR) SIGNAL 
    1. Turn ignition switch ON.
    2. Read voltage signal between driver seat control unit harness connector B222 and ground with oscilloscope.

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES

    Replace driver seat control unit. Refer to Removal and Installation .

    NO

    GO TO STEP 2  .

  2. CHECK LIFTING SENSOR (REAR) CIRCUIT 
    1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
    2. Disconnect driver seat control unit and lifting motor LH (rear).
    3. Check the continuity between driver seat control unit harness connector B222 and lifting motor LH (rear) harness connector B228.

      Yes

    4. Check the continuity between driver seat control unit harness connector B222 and ground.

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES

    GO TO STEP 3 

    NO

    Repair or replace harness.

  3. CHECK LIFTING SENSOR (REAR) POWER SUPPLY 
    1. Connect driver seat control unit.
    2. Turn ignition switch ON.
    3. Check the voltage between lifting motor LH (rear) harness connector B228 and ground.

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES

    GO TO STEP 5 

    NO

    GO TO STEP 4 

  4. CHECK LIFTING SENSOR (REAR) POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT 
    1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
    2. Disconnect driver seat control unit.
    3. Check the continuity between driver seat control unit harness connector B222 and lifting motor LH (rear) harness connector B228.

      Yes

    4. Check the continuity between driver seat control unit harness connector B222 and ground.

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES

    Replace driver seat control unit. Refer to Removal and Installation .

    NO

    Repair or replace harness.

  5. CHECK LIFTING SENSOR (REAR) GROUND 
    1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
    2. Check the continuity between lifting motor LH (rear) harness connector B228 and ground.

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES

    Replace lifting motor LH (rear). Refer to Removal and Installation .

    NO

    Repair or replace harness.
