Automatic Drive Positioner (DTC/Circuit Diagnosis)

  1. CHECK LIFTING SENSOR (FRONT) SIGNAL 
    1. Turn ignition switch ON.
    2. Read the voltage signal between driver seat control unit harness connector B222 and ground with an oscilloscope.

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES

    GO TO STEP 4 

    NO

    GO TO STEP 2 

  2. CHECK LIFTING SENSOR (FRONT) CIRCUIT 
    1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
    2. Disconnect driver seat control unit and lifting motor LH (front).
    3. Check continuity between driver seat control unit harness connector B222 and lifting motor LH (front) harness connector B227.

      Yes

    4. Check continuity between driver seat control unit harness connector B222 and ground.

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES

    GO TO STEP 3 

    NO

    Repair or replace harness.

  3. CHECK LIFTING SENSOR (FRONT) POWER SUPPLY 
    1. Connect driver seat control unit.
    2. Turn ignition switch ON.
    3. Check voltage between lifting motor LH (front) harness connector B227 and ground.

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES

    GO TO STEP 5 

    NO

    GO TO STEP 4 

  4. CHECK LIFTING SENSOR (FRONT) POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT 
    1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
    2. Disconnect driver seat control unit.
    3. Check continuity between driver seat control unit harness connector B222 and lifting motor LH (front) harness connector B227.

      Yes

    4. Check continuity between driver seat control unit harness connector B222 and ground.

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES

    Replace driver seat control unit. Refer to Removal and Installation .

    NO

    Repair or replace harness.

  5. CHECK LIFTING SENSOR (FRONT) GROUND 
    1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
    2. Check continuity between lifting motor LH (front) harness connector B227 and ground.

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES

    Replace lifting motor LH (front). Refer to Removal and Installation .

    NO

    Repair or replace harness.
