Diagnosis Procedure

- CHECK STARTER RELAY OUTPUT SIGNAL A/T MODELS
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect BCM harness connector.
- Check voltage between BCM harness connector ground.

NO

- CHECK STARTER RELAY OUTPUT SIGNAL CIRCUIT
- Disconnect IPDM E/R harness connector.
- Check continuity between IPDM E/R harness connector and BCM harness connector.

YES
Replace IPDM E/R. Refer to Removal and Installation of IPDM E/R .
NO
Repair harness connector.
- CHECK STARTER RELAY POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect IPDM E/R harness connector.
- Check voltage between IPDM E/R harness connector and ground.
