Work Procedure: Preparation

NOTE:
  • The DEF tank should be fully thawed prior to attempting the DEF dosing unit override test. Frozen or partially frozen DEF may provide inaccurate flow rates.
  • Low battery voltage can cause the dosing volume to be low. Check the batteries. See equipment manufacturer service information.
  1. Ensure the ignition switch is OFF.
  2. Remove the after treatment DEF dosing valve. Refer to Removal and Installation .
