Diagnosis Procedure

System setting is not selectable on the combination meter information display.

CHECK DRIVER ASSISTANCE SYSTEM SETTING
1. Ignition On.
2. Check that the driver assistance system setting can be turned ON/OFF with the integral switch in the combination meter information display using the steering switches.
Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Inspection End.

NO

GO TO 2
CHECK STEERING SWITCH CIRCUIT
Check the steering switches. Refer to Diagnosis Procedure (Type A) or Diagnosis Procedure (Type B) .

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 3

NO

Repair or replace harness or connector.
CHECK STEERING SWITCH RESISTANCE
Check the steering switches resistance. Refer to Component Inspection (Type A) or Component Inspection (Type B) .

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Replace combination meter. Refer to Removal and Installation (Type A) or Removal and Installation (Type B) .

NO

Replace steering switches. Refer to Removal and Installation .
