Removal and Installation: Installation

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
CAUTION:
- To avoid possible damage to the glow plug caused by overtightening, make sure the glow plug and cylinder head threads are free of debris and moisture.
- Do not use a hard-wired brush to clean the cylinder head threads because damage can result.
NOTE:
Before installation, clean the threads of the glow plug with a lint-free rag. Clean the cylinder head threads with a nylon brush.
- Hand tighten the glow plugs before applying final torque.
- Fully tighten the glow plugs to the specified torque.
