Removal and Installation - EGR cooler supply line: Removal

WARNING:
- Battery acid and battery acid fumes are extremely dangerous and can cause server burns and explosion. To help reduce the risk of personal injury;
- Wear appropriate goggles and protective clothing.
- Always properly ventilate the area where the service is being performed.
- Never allow battery fluid to come in contact with skin, eyes, fabrics, or painted surfaces.
- To avoid arcing, remove the negative (-) battery cable first and attach the negative (-) battery cable last.
- If acid contacts eyes, skin or clothing, immediately flush with water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention.
- To avoid the risk of personal injury, do not remove the radiator cap when the engine is hot. Serious burns could occur from high-pressure engine coolant escaping from the radiator. Wrap a thick cloth around the cap. Slowly turn it a quarter of a turn to release built-up pressure. Carefully remove the radiator cap by turning it all the way.
CAUTION:
To avoid possible engine and system damage or performance issues:
- Brush away all dirt and debris from the area prior to opening any fuel, air intake, exhaust, cooling, aftertreatment or other engine system.
- To avoid contamination, any open engine system ports must be closed immediately with clean care caps or an appropriate covering.
- Do not allow any debris to fall into the engine.
- Do not allow any chemical cleaners to enter the engine or any open systems during the cleaning process.
- Remove the EGR cooler. Refer to Removal and Installation .NOTE: EGR cooler must be removed to remove the EGR coolant supply line.
- Remove the remaining bolts and remove the EGR cooler supply line.CAUTION: Do not reuse the O-rings.
