Inspection After Removal

CAUTION:
To avoid possible damage to engine emission and aftertreatment system sensors, valves and actuators, unless otherwise indicated:
- Do not clean.
- Do not submerge in any solvent, fluid or water.
- Do not jet wash or steam clean.
NOTE:
The EGR bypass valve is not repairable and should not be disassembled.
- Inspect the EGR bypass valve body and sealing surfaces for damage. If damage is found replace the component.
- Inspect the EGR bypass valve sealing surfaces and body for cracks and or other damage.
