Removal and Installation: Installation

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION: Do not reuse gaskets and O-rings.

When installing the coolant tube (2), lubricate the O-rings (1) with a suitable water-based lubricant.

Tighten the EGR bypass valve bolts to the specified torque in the sequence shown.

Bolts

: 18 N.m (1.8 kg-m, 13 ft-lb)

Tighten air intake connection bolts to the specified torque in the sequence shown.

Operate the engine and check for leaks.
