Removal and Installation - Drive Belt: Removal

CAUTION: To avoid possible damage to the belt tensioner, always pivot the spring loaded belt tensioner away from the drive belt. Do not apply excessive force in the opposite direction of windup or after the tensioner has contacted the positive stop.
  1. Rotate the drive belt auto-tensioner counterclockwise to release the tension.
  2. Remove the drive belt.
