With Heated Steering

CHECK STEERING WHEEL AUDIO CONTROL SWITCH RESISTANCE

Turn ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect combination switch connector M199.
Check resistance between combination switch connector terminals.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 2 .

Replace steering switches. Refer to Removal and Installation .

CHECK HARNESS BETWEEN COMBINATION SWITCH AND COMBINATION METER

Disconnect combination meter connector M24 and combination switch connector M30.

Check continuity between combination meter connector M24 and combination switch connector M30.

Check continuity between combination meter connector M24 and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 3 .

Repair or replace harness or connectors.

CHECK COMBINATION SWITCH

Check continuity between combination switch connectors M30 and M199.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 4 .

Replace spiral cable. Refer to Removal and Installation .

CHECK HARNESS BETWEEN COMBINATION METER AND AV CONTROL UNIT

Disconnect AV control unit connector M45.

Check continuity between combination meter connector M25 and AV control unit connector M45.

YES

Replace AV control unit. Refer to Removal and Installation .
