Diagnosis Procedure

The front fog lamps do not turn ON with front fog lamp switch depressed.

FRONT FOG LAMP SWITCH INSPECTION
Check front fog lamp switch. Refer to Symptom Table .

Is the front fog lamp switch normal?

YES

GO TO 2 .

NO

Repair or replace the malfunctioning part.

CHECK FRONT FOG LAMP REQUEST SIGNAL INPUT

WITH CONSULT

Select "FR FOG REQ" in "Data Monitor" mode of "IPDM E/R".
With operating the front fog lamp switch, check the monitor status.

FR FOG REQ	Front fog lamp switch	ON	ON
		OFF	OFF

Is the item status normal?

YES

GO TO 3 .

Replace BCM. Refer to Removal and Installation .

FRONT FOG LAMP CIRCUIT INSPECTION
Check the front fog lamp circuit. Refer to Diagnosis Procedure .

Is the front fog lamp circuit normal?

YES

Replace IPDM E/R. Refer to Removal and Installation of IPDM E/R .

NO

Repair or replace the malfunctioning part.
