Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT CONTROL SIGNAL OUTPUT

CONSULT

Turn ignition switch ON.
Disconnect front combination lamp harness connector.
Select "EXTERNAL LAMPS" in "Active Test" mode of "IPDM E/R".

While operating the test item, check voltage between IPDM E/R harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 4

GO TO 2

CHECK DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT CONTROL SIGNAL CIRCUIT (OPEN)

Turn ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect IPDM E/R harness connector.

Check continuity between IPDM E/R harness connector and front combination lamp harness connector.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 3

Repair or replace the harness or connector.

CHECK DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT CONTROL SIGNAL CIRCUIT (SHORT)

Check continuity between IPDM E/R harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Replace IPDM E/R. Refer to Removal and Installation of IPDM E/R .

Repair or replace the harness or connector.

CHECK DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT GROUND CIRCUIT

Check continuity between front combination lamp harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Replace applicable LED daytime, parking lamp control module. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly .

Repair or replace the harness or connector.
