Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK FUSE
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Check 10A fuse (No. 53, located in IPDM E/R).
  NOTE: Refer to the appropriate Wiring Diagram [IPDM E/R (Intelligent Power Distribution Module Engine Room)].
Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 2 .

NO

Replace the blown fuse after repairing the affected circuit.

CHECK MAGNET CLUTCH POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT

Disconnect A/C compressor connector and IPDM E/R connector.

Check continuity between A/C compressor harness connector and IPDM E/R harness connector.

F3	1	F50	56	Yes

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 3 .

Repair harness or connector.

CHECK MAGNET CLUTCH GROUND CIRCUIT

Disconnect A/C compressor connector.

Check continuity between A/C compressor harness connector and ground.

A/C compressor		-	Continuity
Connector	Terminal
F3	2	Ground	Yes

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 4 .

Repair harness or connector.

CHECK MAGNET CLUTCH
Directly apply battery voltage to the magnet clutch. Check operation visually and by sound.

Does it operate normally?

YES

Replace IPDM E/R. Refer to Removal and Installation .

NO

Replace magnet clutch. Refer to Removal and Installation .
