Component Inspection

REMOVE FUEL LEVEL SENSOR UNIT
Remove the fuel level sensor unit. Refer to Removal and Installation - VQ40DE (with VQ40DE) or Removal and Installation - VK56VD (with VK56VD).

GO TO 2.

CHECK FUEL LEVEL SENSOR UNIT AND FUEL PUMP (FUEL LEVEL SENSOR)

Check the resistance between fuel level sensor unit and fuel pump (fuel level sensor) terminals.

YES

Inspection End.

Replace fuel level sensor unit and fuel pump. Refer to Removal and Installation - VQ40DE (with VQ40DE) or Removal and Installation - VK56VD (with VK56VD).
