DTC Diagnosis Procedure
- CHECK KEY SWITCH INPUT SIGNAL
CONSULT
Select "KEY ON SW" in "Data Monitor" mode of "BCM (MULTI REMOTE ENT)". Refer to CONSULT Function (BCM - MULTI REMOTE ENT) .
- When key is inserted to ignition key cylinder:
KEY ON SW
:ON
- When key is removed from ignition key cylinder:
KEY ON SW
:OFF
CONSULT
Check voltage between BCM connector and ground.

YES
Key switch (insert) circuit is OK.
NO
GO TO 2.
- When key is inserted to ignition key cylinder:
- CHECK KEY SWITCH (INSERT)
- Ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect key switch connector.
- Check continuity between key switch terminals.

NO
Replace key switch and key lock solenoid.
- CHECK KEY SWITCH CIRCUIT
- Disconnect BCM connector.
- Check continuity between the BCM harness connector and key switch harness connector.
