Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Using a suitable tool, release clips and pawls and remove instrument lower cover [LH (1)].

  2. Using a suitable tool, release clips and pawls and remove instrument lower cover [RH (1)].

  3. Remove selector lever knob with the following procedure.
    1. Slide the selector lever knob cover (1) down.

      CAUTION: Do not damage the knob cover.
    2. Pull out the lock pin (2).
    3. Pull the selector lever knob (3) and knob cover upwards to remove them.
  4. Using a suitable tool, release metal clips and pawls and remove shift selector finisher and console upper finisher as an assembly.
  5. Disconnect harness connector from push-button ignition switch.
  6. Disconnect harness connector from shift indicator lamp.
  7. Remove center console assembly clips.
  8. Remove center console assembly front screws.
  9. Reposition front driver and front passenger seat and remove center console assembly.
  10. Disconnect harness connector from front USB charge port
