Diagnosis Procedure

  1. CHECK DTC PRIORITY 

    If DTC "C1A39-97" is displayed with DTC "U1000-01", first diagnose the DTC "U1000-01".

    Is applicable DTC detected?

    YES

    Perform diagnosis of applicable. Refer to DTC Description .

    NO

    GO TO  2.

  2. CHECK ABS ACTUATOR AND ELECTRIC UNIT (CONTROL UNIT) SELF-DIAGNOSIS RESULTS 

    Check if any DTC is detected in "Self Diagnostic Result" of "ABS".

    Is any DTC detected?

    YES

    Perform diagnosis on the detected DTC and repair or replace the malfunctioning parts. Refer to DTC Index .

    NO

    • Perform neutral position adjustment of steering angle sensor. Refer to Work Procedure.

    Replace the distance sensor. Refer to Removal and Installation .

  3. CHECK DISTANCE SENSOR SELF-DIAGNOSIS RESULTS 

    Check if "C1A39-97" is detected as the current malfunction in "Self Diagnostic Result" of "LASER/RADAR".

    Is any DTC detected?

    YES

    Replace the distance sensor. Refer to Removal and Installation .

    NO

    INSPECTION END
