Component Function Check
- CHECK COMBINATION METER INPUT SIGNAL
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect fuel level sensor unit and fuel pump (main) connector and fuel level sensor unit (sub) connector.
- Connect variable resistor between harness connector terminals located on the vehicle side of the fuel level sensor unit and fuel pump (main) and fuel level sensor unit (sub).

- Set variable resistor according to the resistance value shown in the following table and turn ignition switch ON.

*: The specification value that a combination meter judges the number of the segment lighting of the fuel gauge.

- PERFORM COMPONENT FUNCTION CHECK (2)
Check the fuel level sensor unit and fuel pump (main) and/or fuel level sensor unit (sub). Refer to Component Inspection .

YES
INSPECTION END
NO
Replace the fuel level sensor unit and fuel pump (main) and/or fuel level sensor unit (sub). Refer to FUEL LEVEL SENSOR UNIT, FUEL FILTER AND FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY : Removal & Installation .
