Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Remove the center console side finishers (1) (LH/RH).
    1. Remove the center console side finisher screw cover.
    2. Remove the center console side finisher screw (A) (LH/RH).

    3. Release the clips using a suitable tool, then remove the center console side finisher.

      SYMBOL : Metal clip

  2. Remove shift selector finisher using the following steps;
    • For CVT models.
      • Slide the knob cover (1) down.

      • Pull out the lock pin (2).
      • Pull the shift selector knob (3) and knob cover upwards to remove.
      • Remove cluster lid C lower. Refer to Removal and Installation .
      • Remove the shift selector finisher {CVT (1)] screws (A).

        SYMBOL : Metal clip

      • Release the clips using a suitable tool, then remove the shift selector finisher (CVT).
    • For M/T models.
      • Remove shift selector knob by pulling straight up.
        CAUTION:
        • Do not rotate shift selector knob while removing or damage will occur.
        • Do not reuse shift selector knob.
      • Remove clip (A) and then remove spring (B) from shift selector assembly.

        WARNING:
        • Wear eye protection while removing clip and spring.
        • Be careful while removing clip and spring as spring is under tension.
      • Remove cluster lid C. Refer to Removal and Installation .
      • Remove the shift selector finisher [Manual (1)] screws (A).

      • Release the clips using a suitable tool, then remove the shift selector finisher (Manual).
  3. Release the center console cup holder finisher clips and pawl, then remove the center console cup holder finisher (1).

  4. Remove the center console screw cover (1) using a suitable tool and the center console screws (A) (LH/RH).

  5. Remove the console rear finisher.
    1. Release the center console rear finisher cover pawls using a suitable tool, then remove the center console rear finisher cover (1).

      SYMBOL : Pawl

    2. Release the center console rear finisher clips using a suitable tool, then remove the center finisher (1).

  6. Remove the remaining center console screws (A).

  7. Remove the A/C switch assembly. Refer to Removal and Installation (MANUAL A/C), or Removal and Installation (AUTOMATIC A/C).
  8. Disconnect the harness connectors from the center console assembly and remove.
