DTC Confirmation Procedure

If DTC P0053 is displayed with the following DTC, perform the trouble diagnosis for the applicable DTC.

• P0130
• P0031
• P0032

If applicable DTC detected?

YES

Perform diagnosis of applicable.

• P0130: Refer to DTC Description .
• P0031: Refer to DTC Description .
• P0032: Refer to DTC Description .

NO

GO TO 2.

If DTC Confirmation Procedure has been previousl conducted, always perform the following procedure before conducting the next test.

1. Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds.
2. Turn ignition switch ON.
3. Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds.

TESTING CONDITION:

Before performing the following procedure, confirm that battery voltage is between 10 V and 16 V at idle.

GO TO 3.

1. Start the engine and warm it up until the engine coolant temperature reaches 25 deg. C (77 deg.) or more.
2. Keep the engine at idle at idle at least 35 seconds.
3. Check DTC.

Is 1st trip DTC detected?

YES

Proceed to Diagnosis Procedure.

NO-1

To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Inspection .

NO-2

Confirmation after repair: INSPECTION END
