Crankshaft position B1 sensor B

(Crankshaft position - camshaft position correlation bank 1 sensor B)

Diagnosis condition
  • Ignition switch ON
  • Engine speed: 500 -2, 000 rpm [when vehicle speed is less than 4 km/h (2.5 MPH)]
  • Engine speed: 1, 200 -2, 000 rpm [when vehicle speed is 4 km/h (2.5 MPH) or more]
  • Engine coolant temperature: 60 - 120 deg. C (140 - 248 deg. F)
  • Battery voltage: 11 - 16 V

Exhaust camshaft position sensor signal

Threshold

During the diagnosis of alignment of exhaust valve timing control, the angle difference between actual angle and target angle is 13 degrees or more

Diagnosis delay time

0.4 seconds or more
