DTC Diagnosis Procedure

- CHECK CIRCUIT BETWEEN TCM AND CVT UNIT-1
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect CVT unit connector.
- Check voltage between CVT unit harness connector terminal and ground

Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO 2.
NO
Repair or replace malfunctioning parts.
- CHECK CIRCUIT BETWEEN TCM AND CVT UNIT-2
- Disconnect TCM connector.
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Check voltage between TCM harness connector terminal and ground.

YES
GO TO 3.
NO
Repair or replace malfunctioning parts.
- CHECK CIRCUIT BETWEEN TCM AND CVT UNIT-3
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Check continuity between TCM harness connector terminals.

GO TO 4.
NO
Repair or replace malfunctioning parts.
- REPLACE CONTROL VALVE
- Replace control valve. Refer to CONTROL VALVE : Removal & Installation .
- Perform "DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE". Refer to DTC Description .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
INSPECTION END
NO
Replace the torque converter. Refer to Disassembly & Assembly .
