Check For Fuel Leaks

1. Place ignition switch in "ON" position (with the engine stopped). With fuel pressure applied to fuel piping, check that there are no fuel leaks at connection points.
   NOTE: Use mirrors when checking for leaks from parts that are not directly visible.
2. Start the engine. With engine speed increased, check again that there are no fuel leaks at connection points.
   CAUTION:

   • Do not touch the engine immediately after it is stopped because the engine is extremely hot.
   • After checking for fuel leaks, maintain idling condition for 10 minutes to discharge air included in the fuel piping.
